About Me

Having obtained a psychology degree, I was the Director of a non-profit organisation that I set up and ran for over 5 years, which provided counselling, psychotherapy, and complementary therapy to people that otherwise could not have accessed treatment. Working with more than 60 staff, I know well the stresses and pressures many of us struggle with each day.

My work is fundamentally based on my own experience of coping with and moving through crises, my personal commitment to growth, both professionally and spiritually, as well as my work with clients. I have spent time on both sides of the client/therapist relationship, which is the most valuable experience of all.

I am interested in “the therapeutic relationship as a bodymind process between two people who are both wounded and whole.” – Michael Soth
